REDUCING INDOOR HOMES AND THEIR MAINTENANCE AND CARE
For the high quality of its meat, indoutas (musky ducks) have gained wide popularity and demand in all European countries. Today, indochy breeding is also practiced all over the world, although not on an industrial scale like in European countries.
Indochka is a quiet and calm poultry with excellent growth rates of lean meat. It is unpretentious in content and has the best indicators of survival and hatchability. No noise, does not need a pond, does not require special conditions for maintenance.
Growing turkeys for meat
The carcass of the indochka. The main advantage of the indochka over ordinary ducks is low-fat meat with excellent taste and good rates of growth. In just 2 months, the indolenok grows up to 2-2.4 kg. Keeping the bird on is impractical. 70-day-old ducklings begin to molt and lose weight. Then hemp forms (the beginnings of new feathers), which are difficult to remove from the carcass.
The main advantages of musky ducks compared to other poultry:
Indoor women are most viable compared to other farm birds. This type of poultry is characterized by a high survival rate. Under optimal conditions of detention, 95% – 100% survive until the moment of implementation.
Musk ducks do not require special conditions. For growing, it is quite easy to modernize the simplest shed or other type of room. Main conditions: heat, ventilation and lack of drafts.
No need for a pond. Unlike other ducks, indothos can be perfectly kept in small garden areas, and for all the necessary needs they need a simple trough with water.
When strangers appear, the indigenous women do not start screaming and do not create a constant feeling of discomfort.
The bird is unpretentious in food. She can easily eat a variety of types of food.
Edible eggs. Than an ordinary duck cannot brag. Each indochka per year will lay about 100 large eggs (70 g each).
It is worth noting that the indochka can pluck feathers to each other, which is explained by experts as a lack of nutrients in the diet. Then you should add greens and vitamin supplements to the diet.
FEATURES OF BREEDING OF TURKEYS
Drake and female. You can buy an indolek for breeding for a fairly low price: from only $ 12 per individual. You can grow young animals to a selling weight in just a couple of months.
At the initial stage, it is advantageous to acquire a young Indochka in a year of brood, which in a short time will be able to bring the first offspring. It is best to make a purchase at the beginning or in the middle of autumn, because it was at this time that young growth turned into ducks and young drakes.
Poultry at home is often kept with other animals. As for the musky ducks, it is best for them to build a small separate house. They do not get along well with other pets and therefore eat little.
The room should keep warm in the winter, and also be pretty cool in the summer heat. It is advisable that the doors and windows of the house be facing south, towards constantly blowing winds. The size of the house directly depends on how many indoutos can be placed on one square meter. In the vast majority of cases, you can place three ducks and up to eight ducklings.
Adult ducks begin to rush in April, as soon as it starts to warm. After the Indochka laid twenty eggs, it begins to nest. Hatch for one month.
So that the Indochka does not fly, they need to copy (trim) the tip of the wing on the first phalanx at the age of 24. Then treat with hydrogen peroxide or potassium permanganate. If adult adult wings are trimmed, they stop flying until the wings grow back.
REMOVAL OF INDOORS IN THE INCUBATOR IN HOME
New incubator. Storage and subsequent selection of unfertilized hatching eggs takes place in the same way as with other poultry. The only difference is the longest egg incubation time (32-35 days).
Useful advice! Good hatchability in eggs lying 15-18 days. To store eggs laid for laying in the incubator should be at a temperature of +15 degrees. You can also put a bowl of water in the egg room to maintain moisture.
The eggs of the musky duck must be laid in an extremely regulated and heated incubator. Warming up within four hours. Egg laying time should be chosen so that the brood falls in the morning.
